Rainforests are forests that experience a high level of rainfall a year.And rainforsts only cover 2% of the earths land surface,but really about 50% of the earths plants and animals belong to the rainforest.And rainforests arent just found in South America, they could be found in Indonesia,Alaska and Australia.

Some plants are under extinction so you have to be very very carefull of what flowers you pick in the Amazon Rainforest. s.

There are lots of different types of plants in the Amazon,like exotic plants and lots and lots of colourful plants aswell.

The Kapok Tree is the largest and most important species in the Amazon. As part of the Emergent Layer, it can reach great heights providing shelter for animals and sunlight for plants living on it. Parts of the tree are also used for treating a variety of illnesse
